Nowadays, more and more children are being exposed to gadget screens for long periods of time, coupled with a lack of natural light exposure from outdoor activities. These habits increase the risk of developing myopia (nearsightedness) at an early age, often without parents even realizing it.

For this reason, the Children's Eye Screening Package (Myopia) is now available at Royal Progress Hospital as an early detection solution for vision problems, specially designed for children.

The examination includes:

• Refraction Test (2x)
  A visual acuity test to assess the level of nearsightedness or other refractive errors.
• Tonometry
  Measurement of intraocular pressure to detect the risk of glaucoma or other intraocular pressure-related disorders.
• Funduscopy
  Examination of the inner parts of the eye (retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels) to evaluate the overall condition of the eye’s structure.
• Consultation with an Ophthalmologist
  Evaluation of the examination results and recommendations for the best course of treatment or management by an eye specialist.

Terms and Conditions:

• The package is valid until June 30, 2025
• The package is applicable for children under 18 years of age
• The package is applicable for patients with General (non-insurance) payment
• Refunds are not allowed
